This book contains an answer for America's race problem.

We are the generation that grew up in suburbia, surrounded by luxury and White people. We are the true BUPPs. We do not feel uncomfortable being the "only one" in the board room because we've always been the "only one"- on our blocks, in our peer groups, at our schools. Because we grew up with White children, we've developed different expectations of White people. But as we leave the security of our parents' suburbs, we find that America's expectations for us are the same.

There are six hierarchical BUPP Stages. The stages are emotional, not financial. While most BUPPs do not make it to Stage VI, this book contains the story of one who did.
