RHYTHM & HUES FILM PREXY HOLLANDER TO JOIN PIXAR; EP BERGER TAPPED TO HEAD DIVISION

VFX and Animation powerhouse looks ahead with numerous projects in production; will celebrate its 20th Anniversary in 2007

MARINA DEL REY, CA - December 1, 2006: Rhythm & Hues announced today that Richard Hollander, President of its Film Division for the past eight years, is exiting the VFX and animation studio to assume a role at Pixar. Lee Berger, the current Rhythm & Hues Film Division Executive Producer, will move into the President position.

Rhythm & Hues Studios CEO and Co-Founder John Hughes stated: "While we will miss his enthusiastic and visionary leadership, we're excited for Richard to have this opportunity. He has led the growth of our film division into one of the preeminent facilities of its kind in the industry. We know he's going to be a great success at Pixar and wish him the very best with his future projects."

Hughes continued: "As Executive Producer, Lee Berger worked closely with Richard to lead the Film Division. His knowledge of our infrastrature and culture, as well as his key relationships with clients and talent, make him the ideal candidate to step into this position."

Since Hollander's motion graphics facility VIFX merged with Rhythm & Hues in 1999, Hollander and Berger leveraged the studio's combined strengths in character animation and visual effects, positioning it as one of an exclusive group of facilities capable of handling large volume shot output for big budget studio tentpole FX and CG animated films. The studio's awards kudos include such projects as "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe," which earned an Academy Award Nomination for Achievement in Visual Effects in 2005, as well as "Babe," which earned an Oscar in 1995 in the same category.

Richard Hollander stated "My time at Rhythm & Hues has been rich with production and technical challenges - it has been my privilege to join the great talent in this environment to solve those challenges and create such spectacular imagery."

Lee Berger brings more than twenty years of supervisory experience in the entertainment industry producing visual effects and animation. He served as a freelance visual effects producer on "Titanic," "Volcano" and "Batman Forever," and later as VP of Production at Fox owned Blue Sky|VIFX before joining Rhythm & Hues. During the Ford and Carter administrations, Berger was a news cameraman at the White House, then, after relocating to Los Angeles, worked on numerous features, commercials and documentaries, becoming a Producer and First Assistant Director. Berger's initial exposure in visual effects came during the late 1980's at Apogee Productions, where he worked with industry veteran and Academy Award winning Visual Effects Supervisor John Dykstra. Lee also worked for many years alongside Director and Effects Supervisor Bruce Dorn at his commercial production facility in Hollywood.

Rhythm & Hues' holiday 2006 releases include "Night at the Museum," "Charlotte's Web" and "Happy Feet." Earlier this year, the studio made significant contributions to the success of "Superman Returns," and is currently in production on the comedy "Evan Almighty," the political thriller "The Kingdom," and the family fantasy "His Dark Materials: Golden Compass."

Rhythm & Hues will celebrate its 20th anniversary in April, 2007.
