HASSLER TO LEAD SALES EFFORTS OF RHYTHM + HUES COMMERCIAL STUDIOS

As Executive Producer/ Director of Marketing, She’ll Promote the Complete Digital Studio; Will Oversee Four Key Sales Reps

June 21st, 2005 – Los Angeles: As Rhythm + Hues Commercial Studios continues to evolve, newly tapped Executive Producer Paul Babb is revolutionizing the studios’ approach to sales and marketing, in order to develop a completely open studio environment.

Consolidation & Innovation

The first key step is the promotion of Amy Hassler to the new position of Executive Producer/Director of Marketing. Amy had been R+H’s Animation + Effects Executive Producer and was instrumental in the studios’ tremendous growth. Since coming aboard in 2002, Amy initiated the studios’ relationship with such prominent outside directors as Jake Scott, Sam Raimi, Hank Perlman, Noam Murro and Dayton/Faris.

"With the growth of the commercial division and addition of Steve Beck, it is clearly the time to dedicate my focus to sales and marketing,” says Amy. “The recent changes will allow me to manage the part of the process I really enjoy, including working more closely with our solid team of sales reps. I'm excited about the opportunity this presents," she concludes.

Paul Babb adds: “I’m really excited about Amy taking on the challenge of directing our marketing and sales, and really look forward to working with her and her team.”

Rhythm + Hues will also be streamlining its representation. In her new capacity, Amy will oversee Henry Hagerty on the east coast, Marci Miles in the midwest/Detroit and the team of Toni Saarinen and Jennifer Spencer on the west coast/Texas.

The announcement is the latest in a series of bold new steps in the evolution of the commercial group, building on the momentum created by the recent hiring of Steve Beck, who joined the ranks of the studio’s live action director roster which also includes Clark Anderson and Michael Wright.
