Currently hiring for all shifts. Possible weekends, part time available:

1) Day Shift: 8am – 5pm
2) Swing shift: 4pm – 1am
3) Graveyard shift: 12am – 9am

The Render I/O Coordinator will be responsible for monitoring renders, providing queue support to users, monitoring disk servers, performing backups/restores, and handling incoming/outgoing data transfers. Qualified candidates will have the opportunity to code from time to time. This is an entry level position that could lead to a Pipeline TD or Digital Artist role.

• Manage studio resources, including disk space and CPU utilization.
• Prepare incoming/outgoing data transfers.
• Coordinate backups and restores.
• Monitor studio queue system.
• Troubleshoot and correct failing tasks.

• Unix experience (proficiency with basic tools).
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with people with various levels of technical proficiency.
• Desire to provide excellent customer support in a production environment.
• CS degree or equivalent experience.

• Scripting language experience (eg. Perl, Python).
• Experience working with relational databases.
• Excellent documentation skills.
• Interest in computer animation and visual effects.
