The Pipeline TD-International position is a Los Angeles based production position which performs technical support tasks for feature films (VFX) and/or commercials, with a focus on facilitating communication between the Pipeline teams in the Los Angeles and international offices of Rhythm & Hues. It provides an opportunity to gain exposure to the production pipeline, and includes travel to overseas offices. Applicants need to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging production environment, and should be willing to work a swing shift to ensure overlap between Los Angeles and overseas working hours. Problem investigation and resolution skills are a must.

• Facilitate communication between the various international Pipeline teams.
• Act as a general technical contact for production.
• Handle varied technical requests from artists and production personnel.
• Design, implement, and support artist workflows.
• Debug production-related technical problems.
• Support artists with various aspects of the production pipeline.

• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience working with overseas locations is desirable.
• Linux/UNIX proficiency.
• Able to prioritize and juggle multiple requests.
• Scripting ability – Perl, csh, etc.
• Familiarity with computer graphics concepts and techniques.
• Familiarity with computer graphics application software (eg. Maya, Houdini, Shake, etc).
• Excellent problem investigation and resolution skills.
