Position Summary
The position requires a high degree of both technical skill and artistic judgment. The Digital Painter develops backgrounds and paintings of imaginary worlds, landscapes and sets. They also create establishing shots to visualize the scene; paintings that convey mood and depth that support specific scenes from the story. Ability to follow Art Director’s direction to produce complex elements at a high standard, with a thorough understanding of perspective, lighting, and color.

Education, Skills and Experience
1) Must have strong traditional art skills (drawing, painting, etc.), preferably with a Fine Arts background.
2) Strong skill base and experience in Photoshop is a must.
3) Photo real painting and Experience with a 3D package is a plus.
4) Excellent English communication skills (including written, verbal skills).
5) Strong organizational skills.
6) Must be self-motivated and self-guided.
7) Must know how to work with reference and work efficiently.
8) Experience working on international projects is a plus.
9) Familiarity with UNIX / Linux working environment is a plus.
10 )Ability to complete paintings within a fast paced, dynamic, deadline driven environment, according to expectations.
