Rhythm and Hues

As executive producer and a senior staff member for Rhythm & Hues’ Film division, Julie oversees film production, along with various duties in client relations and content development. She is currently the lead executive for the studio’s work on “R.I.P.D.” (Fox) and “Chronicle” (Universal Pictures).

In her former position as head of production, Julie managed the studio’s wealth of visual effects producers and production staff, to insure efficient pipelines and successful delivery of each individual show in production. During her tenure in this position, Julie’s teams delivered more than 20 feature films, including “Yogi Bear,” “Fast and Furious,” “State of Play.”

Joining Rhythm & Hues in 2004, Julie served as digital producer on “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.” She was promoted to vfx producer on ”Night at the Museum” and repeated that role for “The Incredible Hulk.”

Julie began her career at Industrial Light + Magic, where she was VFX production manager on ”Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones,” and vfx associate producer on “Twisted,” “Van Helsing” and “Peter Pan.”

Julie earned a Bachelor of Arts from Pepperdine University.
