BILL TLUSTY
- EXECUTIVE PRODUCER, FILM
As executive producer and a senior staff member for Rhythm & Hues’ Film division, Bill oversees film production, along with various duties in client relations and content development. He is currently the lead executive for the studio’s work on “Life of Pi” and “Snow White and the Huntsman.”
Bill served as vfx producer for R&H on “Yogi Bear,” the company’s first co-production with a major movie studio, (Warner Bros.). His other vfx producer credits include “Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian,” “The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor” and “Evan Almighty.” Bill’s initial role at R&H was digital producer for ‘Charlotte’s Web” and “Night at the Museum.”
Prior to joining R&H in 2005, Bill worked in several capacities on the “Star Wars” prequel trilogy at Industrial Light + Magic, serving as a vfx coordinator and later, production manager on the series. He also served as production manager at ILM for Ang Lee’s “Hulk” and “Peter Pan,” as well as a coordinator on “A.I. Artificial Intelligence.”
Bill began his career at Francis Ford Coppola’s American Zoetrope, assisting on such films as “The Rainmaker” and “The Florentine.”
Bill attended the University of Minnesota where he studied Political Science.
