Kevin Macdonald (“The Last King of Scotland”) directed this crime drama thriller based on the BBC mini-series of the same title. A team of investigative reporters work alongside a police detective to try to solve the murder of a congressman's mistress. The all-star cast includes Jason Bateman, Russell Crowe, Ben Affleck and Helen Mirren. VFX Supervisor Bob Mercier and his team created 30 shots, mostly 2D work, (green screen comps, monitor inserts).
