Night at the Museum

Shawn Levy directed, with Ben Stiller starring in this family comedy about a newly recruited night security guard at the Museum of Natural History who discovers that an ancient curse causes the animals and exhibits on display to come to life and wreak havoc. Rhythm & Hues VFX Supervisor Dan DeLeeuw and a crew of hundreds of digital artists brought the museum and its denizens to life, including the movie’s biggest CG scene stealer: “Rexy,” a hyperactive T-Rex. R&H also created a menagerie of African mammals, along with an epic clash of ancient cultures on a miniature scale for the diorama scenes.
