PRASHANT BUYYALA

Prashant Buyyala is the head of Rhythm & Hues’ international studios. He has over 16 years of experience working at the Los Angeles facility and has also led the effort to successfully establish, develop, and nurture its subsidiaries in Mumbai, Hyderabad and Kuala Lumpur.
Prashant has a Masters degree in Engineering Economic Systems & Operations Research from Stanford University and dual undergraduate degrees in both Physics and Economics from Occidental College in Los Angeles. This background, with a unique blend of technology and economics, helped shape his career at R&H where he has taken on various responsibilities ranging from building probabilistic based financial models which helped run the company, to hiring and managing digital artists, to helping establish core technologies behind the production pipelines.
Today, Prashant is a key member of the Office of the President in the Los Angeles studio, and also serves as the Managing Director of Rhythm & Hues India and Rhythm & Hues Malaysia.
