Rhythm and Hues

As Vice President of Finance, Janell Perez oversees the finance and accounting responsibilities for Rhythm & Hues Studios, Inc. She oversees the company’s financial reporting, cash management, federal and state tax compliance, risk management, relationships with banks and vendors, and is responsible for the studio’s treasury function.

Janell started off as senior audit accountant for Coopers & Lybrand. She found her way to the entertainment industry, working for Warner Brothers, Paramount Pictures and finally Viacom Productions as the senior vice president of Finance and Operations. Her experience includes motion picture development budgeting, production auditing, filmmaker term deals, film and television revenue projection, and production cost budgeting - to name just a few - prior to joining Rhythm & Hues in 2005.

Janell is a California native, and earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara, in Business Economics with an emphasis on Accounting. Janell is a Certified Public Accountant.
